SSS ONLINE LOAN APPLICATION
SSS online loan application is almost like a walk in the park if you haven’t taken one yet. You may follow these steps:
Visit SSS website
Go to the official website of the Social Security System in the Philippines.
Create / Log in to your SSS account
You need to create your SSS Account by providing your basic information, valid ID and SSS number in the website. If you already have an SSS online account, log in using your username and password.
Access the Member Portal
Once logged in, navigate to the Member Portal section of the website. This is where you can access various services and applications for members including SSS Online Loan Application.
Set up disbursement account
Before you apply and get approved for an SSS Salary Loan, you still need to set up your disbursement account; this is a bank account that will serve as a disbursement destination for your loan.
In this stage, you will need the following:
1. Valid ID
2. Bank Account Card
3. Selfie with the Valid ID and Bank Account Card
Choose the type of loan
Within the Member Portal, find the loan application section. SSS offers different types of loans, such as salary loans, calamity loans, and emergency loans. Select the loan type that fits your requirements.
Check eligibility
If you are eligible for a loan and you already have a disbursement account, your loanable amount will be seen after your click Loans > Apply for Salary Loan.
Submit application
Once you have determined the amount of loan you want to apply for, just click the apply button, fill in a few details to proceed with your SSS online loan application. Accept terms and conditions and wait for approval. The approval should take less than a week. Once approved, you will receive a notification in the email and the amount will get disbursed to your nominated bank account.
